Invisalign and Traditional Orthodontics

We are proud to now offer orthodontics at Subiaco Dental utilizing either traditional braces or the new Invisalign system.

We know having a nice smile is a huge confidence boost but many of us cringe at the idea of braces, or have already had braces and can’t bear to go through the process again! Invisalign is a new way of straightening your teeth using thin, clear, unobtrusive removable aligners which are virtually invisible.

You receive a set of aligners which are worn every day and changed at home every 1-2 weeks. Each aligner is slightly different, encouraging your teeth to move to the desired position.

Invisalign offers many advantages over traditional braces:

  • The aligners are clear and nearly invisible so treatment is very discreet
  • Aligners are removable for eating/drinking and allows for easy cleaning
  • Removable aligners allows greater freedom for playing sports or taking them out for a special event
  • Fewer visits as you change the aligners yourself at home
  • The pressure felt with aligners is mild compared to adjustment of braces
  • We can show you the final outcome and determine the length of treatment before starting

We also offer a choice of orthodontics with conventional braces using either metal or ceramic brackets.
